There have been records of different pandemics long-dated
before the coming of Christ with their effects on human socio-economic life and
how people were able to survive.

2. Put all capital project on hold
Irrespective of your financial level, there is always a
capital project for everyone but the main focus here is; any project that
involves spending so much money at your disposal.
This is actually the time to halt on such projects because that money may be needed for something very essential and you do not want to be stranded at such moments.

3. Get enough food in the house
Everyone needs food and water amongst other things to survive, having sufficient food items at this point is most
important which is why you should stuck-up your house with this essential
commodity right now because you’re going to need it as much as the need for a fresh
air,
4. Stay healthy
As much as we need food to survive, we must also make
healthy living a priority at this critical moment, and there is so much so-little
things you can do to stay healthy at this time. They include but are not
limited to the following:
- Eating healthy/ organic foods,
- Avoiding excessive smoking and drinking,
- Staying positive, happy, and away from crowds,
- Avoiding unhealthy competitions and arguments,
- Exercising regularly,
- You should learn to forgive easily, and,
At a time like this, you shouldn't let failed
expectations and anger (if any) get the most of you.
Your family need peace and happiness at this moments so make it a priority to give them that, irrespective of your position in the family.

6. Discover yourself
This pandemic raises a lot of questions which can be
summarized as to whether or not the COVID-19 pandemic is a blessing or a curse.
You alone can make it a blessing in disguise for yourself by taking the time to discover your true self, learn the new trends and adjust yourself positively. This is a time to talk to yourself and make new healthy rules in your life.

7. Get a hobby
You may or may not have a hobby because of your previous
busy lifestyle. Well, thanks to the social restrictions for the simple fact
that you must spend so much time with yourself right now, which is enough for
you to get a hobby but, it is important to make your hobby a fruitful one.
For instance, I love to make artworks, it is both a gift that I developed on and a hobby that I'm passionate about, but most importantly, I make some money from this hobby of mine from time to time. Which is really cool especially at a time like this.

at a time such as this, you should try as much as possible to invest your time
on something that will yield you some income whether in a short period or for
longer terms.
9. Write a book
There are so many brilliant writers in the world that are
yet to be discovered may be because they lack the time to get creative with their
writing skills.
Well, this period may be the only chance you will get to put your writing skills into action, so grab your pen and get to writing.

10. Trust no one at a time like this
In other words, keep away from people, secure your
perimeters, avoid handshakes and hugs from even your best friends and stay far
away from crowds.
Social distancing is a way out here and you really owe no one an apology for that. I’m sorry my friend, but it's just the new trend.

11. Spend money only on the needful
If you ask me, I’ll tell you that looking good is one other
way to survive on planet earth but the truth is that; at a time like this, it is not
so important, of course, you can put on nice lingerie to bed, wear lovely
make-up and perfumes and all that... but, you shouldn’t go spending a fortune
on new collections of any luxurious materials or things that you don’t really need.
12. Do fun things with your family; it is not the end of the world yet!
Whether or not the world will end, that I cannot say but at
least it ain’t the end yet, so be creative with bringing laughter and fun at
home with your loved ones, you can watch funny movies together, you can play
old-school fun games together. Just make it a happy moment if you know what i
mean.
13. Get to know your family
For the workaholic parents, for instance, this is actually
the time to get to know your family, talk to them, hear them out and make
healthy decisions and changes for your family and yourself as well.
14. Don’t empty your financial reserve
No matter what you do at a period like this, try not to
empty your financial storehouse, save a lot of money for invisible days and most
importantly, stay positive and hopeful believing that everything will be fine, but have
some savings on reserve though.
15. Remember to help the less privileged near you
While you keep to your survival routine, please remember the
less privileged and try to reach out to them.
No matter how little you give to them, it’ll surely go a long way and remember what we were told about givers? Is that they never lack.

16. Pray, have faith, and be happy
The most important thing to do at this period of time is to
pray, love, and have faith that you’ll come out stronger and healthier from this
pandemic, and be happy while at it.
Cheers to all, and I wish you the best. SHALOM.
