This is how to make moringa tea

Step 1

Separate the moringa leaves from its stem.

Step 2

Wash the moringa leaves with warm water.

Step 3

Spread the leaves on a flat clean surface to dry the leaves (not sundry) until very dry.

Step 4

Crush in a mortar or blender, into powdered form.

Step 5

Spread to air the crushed/ blended moringa leaves again on a flat clean surface for about 2-3 hours

Step 6

Store the moringa-powdered tea in a transparent glass jar with a dry teaspoon permanently in it (use the spoon to scoop out the moringa powder when needed)

Step 7

(making the tea proper)
  • Boil a cup of water,
  • with the dry teaspoon fetch not more than 1 tbsp of the moringa powder,
  • Add to the boiled water and stir,
  • Allow the mixture to cool down a little,
  • Sieve the leafy particles out (optional)
  • And enjoy.
